The Rippling Waters of Libo, Qiannan - Xiaoqikong Scenic Area

Explore the natural attractions of Libo in Qiannan, where the 7-kilometer-long Xiaoqikong Scenic Area combines mountains, forests, caves, lakes, and waterfalls. This serene and picturesque spot, enriched with the culture of the Tujia and Yao ethnic groups, has become a must-visit destination in Guizhou.

The iconic landmark of the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is the Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, a stone arch bridge spanning the Xiangshui River. The reflection of its curved arches on the water is quite beautiful, though it can get crowded, and crossing the bridge may require waiting in line.

Following the water through the scenic area, you will pass by the layered Laya Waterfall, the Water Forest, the Wolong Pond which resembles Jiuzhaigou, and the rippling Yuanyang Lake, where you can also take a hand-rowed boat ride.
