Choosing the right accommodation in Shuhe! This guesthouse made me lazily happy

☀️ Before coming to Lijiang, I browsed dozens of guesthouses and finally settled on Qiye Manyu. After staying for 4 days, I didn’t want to leave—it perfectly met all my expectations for a "travel resting place": quiet, thoughtful, and super convenient for going out to play!
🏡 Step into a wooden little world, full of gentle details
Opening the door, I was struck by the wooden style; warm light poured through the glass window🪟 onto the floor. The long table in the lobby was decorated with rustic pottery and dried flowers. Sitting here to drink coffee or tea was especially cozy, with none of the cramped feeling of commercial guesthouses. The bathtub suite I booked was a wonderful surprise—spacious enough to spin around, with wooden furniture paired with light-colored soft furnishings, gentle and healing.
🚿 The room’s facilities are simply the "comfort ceiling": central air conditioning with precise temperature control, no worries about Lijiang’s big temperature difference between morning and night; the heated toilet seat is a must-have on cold days, warm and cozy to sit on; premium shampoo and conditioner left my hair smooth and fluffy, no need to bring travel-sized bottles anymore; the most thoughtful was the humidifier—after staying several days, my skin never felt dry. Later, I visited a friend’s tatami big bed room and found the space utilization was super high, with the mattress firmness just right—no wonder she stayed in bed until noon every day.
The butler service was an extra bonus! As soon as I got off the car, they proactively helped with my luggage, always smiling and approachable. Sitting in the courtyard every day to bask in the sun made time feel slower. The guesthouse was especially quiet; after closing the windows at night, you could hardly hear any noise. Even with light sleep, I had a good night’s rest.
🚗 3 must-visit attractions, super convenient to reach by taxi
🏔️ Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: about a 30-minute taxi ride, leaving at 8 a.m. just in time for the first cable car batch, avoiding the queue peak. After climbing the snow mountain, returning to the guesthouse for a hot bath to relieve fatigue, then a cup of hot tea—it's simply divine.
🏠 Baisha Ancient Town: 20 minutes by car, more original and rustic than Shuhe. Stroll through the old street’s handmade shops, watch Dongba paper making, and when tired, find a teahouse to sit down, order a cup of Snow Mountain coffee, and spend a leisurely afternoon.
• Lijiang Old Town: 30 minutes by taxi straight to the entrance. It’s liveliest at night—visit Sifang Street, see the big waterwheel, and when tired, find a quiet bar to listen to music. Returning late at night is safe as the guesthouse entrance is very secure.
If you don’t want to go far, you can walk 5 minutes to dive into the alleys of Shuhe Ancient Town, find a local-run small shop to eat chicken bean jelly and cured ribs, full of authentic local flavor.
