Baoji Parent-Child Popular 2-Day Tour|Touch Clay Sculptures, Chase the Starry Sky, Unlock the Zhou and Qin Secrets!

After exploring Baoji with kids, I put together this "fun, educational, and not tiring" guide, personally tested with kids having a blast and parents worry-free!

🌟 Highlights

Historical enlightenment + intangible cultural heritage hands-on + natural fun, three dimensions to guarantee parent-child happiness, with tips to avoid pitfalls!

📅 Daily Itinerary Guide

Day 1: Touch Three Thousand Years of Civilization

• Baoji Bronze Ware Museum (free, reservation required)
Must-see treasure "He Zun," point out the "Zhai Zi Zhong Guo" inscription to the kids for a super impressive experience! The children's area lets them rub bronze patterns and assemble artifact models. My kid played until unwilling to leave, highly interactive. Recommend reserving 2 hours and avoiding the 10 AM tour group peak.

• Liuying Village · China’s No.1 Clay Sculpture Village
Make mini clay sculptures with intangible cultural heritage inheritors, guided through kneading and coloring, and you can take the finished product home as a souvenir. The clay sculpture wall at the village entrance is a great photo spot, perfect for parent-child photos with a folk atmosphere.

• Xifu Old Street Night Tour
Evening visit is perfect! First, eat freshly baked walnut bread and sour and spicy hand-pulled noodles, then watch a shadow puppet show. The central "Big Bowl Sculpture" is a check-in spot; the night scene with lights on is stunning.

Day 2: Nature and Science Double Harvest

• Guanshan Grassland Light Experience (1.5-hour drive)
No long trek needed to feed alpacas and ride ponies, staff accompany the whole time for safety. Hide in a tent at noon for barbecue, watch the "Great Qin Guanshan" equestrian show in the afternoon, and the fireworks finale had the kids snapping photos excitedly.

• N-Dimensional Planetarium Alternative (Rainy Day Savior)
If it rains, head here! The earthquake experience room lets kids learn disaster avoidance intuitively, and the starry sky theater lets you lie down and watch the Milky Way, 10 times more vivid than picture books. Parent-child tickets are 40 yuan, great value for 3 hours of fun.

📌 Parent-Child Must-Have Tips

1. Transportation: Taxi starting fare in the city is 8 yuan; self-driving is recommended for the grassland, with stops at scenic viewpoints to photograph the sea of clouds.

2. Food: Lingshi Jia Wa offers a one-stop taste of saozi noodles and tofu flower paomo; kids love the sweet honey zongzi, a must-order.

3. Accommodation: Choose hotels near Jing’er Road, with night markets nearby; rooms with children’s play areas are available under 400 yuan.

4. Gear: Big temperature difference between day and night on the grassland, bring a light jacket; bring a small notebook to the museum for kids to draw artifacts.

Playing in Baoji with kids lets you hear the echoes of history and collect hands-on happiness—this trip is truly worth the ticket price! 👉 Save it and set off this weekend~
