The Nahm Dong falls and surrounding area are more resort-like than many of Laos' waterfalls, with spectacular natural beauty, buildings from the French Colonial era, and plenty of fantastic things to see and do. There are numerous seating and swimming spots, some of which are suited for families due to their shallowness and mild flow, while the steps to the falls will get the old heart pumping.

Other activities, such as ziplining, are available in the park if you want to fill your day with excitement. If not, find a quiet area and spend the afternoon relaxing, reading or napping.
