Luang Prabang, Laos, is a treasure trove of cultural and natural wonders. If you want to spend a short time at this, here are some top things to do within 2 days based on my experience:

Day 1:
- Visit Kuang Si Waterfall: A stunning multi-tiered waterfall with turquoise pools. It's a perfect spot for swimming and relaxing.

- Climb to Mount Phousi: A hilltop temple offering panoramic views of the city and Mekong River, especially beautiful at sunset or sunrise.

- Have a dinner at Night Market: Shop for local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs in the bustling market, a great place to soak in the local culture.

Day 2:
- Visit Pak Ou Caves: Take a boat ride to these caves housing thousands of Buddha images and statues.

- Explore the Royal Palace Museum: Explore the former royal residence showcasing artifacts and treasures from Laos' history.

- Wat Xieng Thong: A masterpiece of Lao temple architecture, adorned with intricate carvings and mosaics.

The ticket prices for most of above attractions are not greater than 5$. Generally, it's suitable for your budget in Luang Prabang if you plan to visit in a short time or spend long time here.
