I really didn't want to leave after staying here...
If I had to choose just one place to stay in Luang Prabang, I would definitely recommend MyBanLao!

I stayed at three hotels: MyBanLao, Luang Prabang Grand Hotel, and Sanctuary Hotel. Overall, MyBanLao wins!

Transportation:
1️⃣ MyBanLao
- Free shuttle service available anytime
- Offers station transfers for stays of two nights or more

2️⃣ Luang Prabang Grand Hotel
- Free shuttle every two hours (just a large minibus)
- One evening when we boarded, the bus was full and others had to wait for its return trip

3️⃣ Sanctuary Hotel
- No shuttle service available

Note: In Luang Prabang, transportation is usually by tuk-tuk (tutu) and requires bargaining!! I didn't know at first, but after encountering an overpriced ride at the hotel entrance once, I started bargaining every time - probably could've bargained even lower (since they agreed immediately to my first low offer).

That's why I recommend MyBanLao - it saves so much energy on transportation without needing excessive communication.

Location:
- Luang Prabang Grand Hotel is far from downtown
- Sanctuary Hotel is closest but requires walking
- MyBanLao has shuttles and takes the least time
