Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province·Donglin Buddha

"Qi Photo", which loves to record life, is online again. I flew to Jiujiang, Jiangxi specifically for this big Buddha.

Donglin Buddha is a religious site of the Pure Land Sect. Located in Lushan Hot Spring Town, Jiangxi Province, on the southern foot of Lushan Mountain; 48 meters high, it is the tallest golden statue of Amitabha Buddha in the world. 48 kilograms of gold were used to gild the entire body. There are 949 steps in total. The Buddha is 48 meters high and 81 meters in total. It sits on a 48-petal lotus platform, which embodies the 48 great vows made by Amitabha Buddha to save all living beings. The Buddha's right palm is facing forward and hanging down in a welcoming gesture; his left hand is placed on his chest, holding a lotus, which is protected by a dome. The Pure Land Garden of Donglin Temple (the management of Donglin Buddha) has been approved as a Buddhist temple by the State Administration of Religious Affairs. All construction funds come from donations from believers and kind-hearted people from all over the world. After completion, it will be open to the public free of charge and will not be operated commercially.
🚌: It is about 30 km away from Jiujiang Railway Station. The Up owner drove himself, and it seems that there is no bus or coach going from Jiujiang City.
Note: Do not wear short skirts, tight skirts, or revealing clothing. If you do, there are free black skirts to borrow on the right before entering the hall.
Opening hours: 8:00-17:00. Admission is free.
