Luzhou Jinlong Temple: A Spiritual Journey in Zen

Jinlong 🐉 Temple, a historic temple originally built in the Tang Dynasty, is famous for the legend of the "golden dragon coiling around the beams." Built cascading along the mountainside, its red walls, black tiles, and verdant ancient trees create a picturesque scene. Ascending the steps, you'll see three layers of eaves seemingly rising into the air. At the confluence of two rivers, countless sails pass by, evoking a vision of the former Buddhist paradise of "dragons hidden in the sea of clouds."
😍No tickets are required to visit. Follow the stone steps upwards, enjoying the tranquility of the mountain mist and the occasional encounter with peacocks. Rest at the pavilion halfway up the mountain, where the curling smoke from the dragon's head incense burner embodies the Zen concept of "all dharmas are empty." We especially recommend visiting the "Heart Washing Spring" in the bamboo forest behind the temple. Scoop up a handful of spring water to wash your face and experience the refreshing enlightenment of "originally, there is nothing."
Transportation is very convenient, with direct bus routes from Luzhou city. Popular with worshippers, it is a serene place for spiritual cultivation. Before the ancient Buddha and the flickering lamps, one can see their true nature. Sunlight outlines the golden dragon with a golden edge. Looking back at the path you've traveled, the hustle and bustle of the mundane world has already transformed into a wisp of cloud in the mountains.
