Last weekend, I went to Macau with my friends and wanted to experience this city that combines Eastern and Western cultures. I heard that Baimaxing 🈶 is a famous Portuguese restaurant where you can see the Grand Lisboa, so I decided to give it a try.

It is worth mentioning that this is a historic restaurant 👍🏻 The chef is Lu Zicheng, who was the chef of the last six governors of Macau and is good at making authentic Portuguese dishes. When we got there, we found that the restaurant was very warm and the decoration was very distinctive. There were some Portuguese landscape paintings and historical photos hanging on the wall. 🖼️

We ordered a set meal for four people 📝, and every dish surprised us. The taste was very good and the portion was very large. 🈵

✅ Grilled prawns with tomato butter sauce. The fresh prawns as big as the palm of your hand 🤲 were opened and slow-cooked, so that the tomato butter sauce penetrated into the shrimp meat, which not only enhanced the sweet flavor, but also retained the chewy taste, with multiple layers in one mouthful.

✅The charcoal grilled rib-eye steak is fried to medium rare, just showing the tender texture of beef. When you bite it, the juice is released and flows on the tip of your tongue. The aroma of the gravy fills your mouth. In one word: good! 👍🏻

✅The black truffle mushroom pizza is mainly based on mushroom white sauce, and after being embellished with black truffles, the whole has a more smoky flavor. The thin crust pizza has a crispy edge and a soft crust.
