Just copy! Macau 2-Day CityWalk Route Guide

#澳门之旅

My dear friends, Macau is a city full of surprises, and every street and alley is filled with unique charm. In order to make your trip relaxing and enjoyable, I have shared my treasured 2-day citywalk route. You can just copy it!

Day 1: In-depth tour of history and culture

Morning: Ruins of St. Paul's → Ruins of St. Paul's
Starting from the hotel, the first stop is the landmark of Macau, the Ruins of St. Paul's. The exquisite stone carvings carved by time carry a heavy history. The surrounding souvenir shops are very lively. The meat jerky and almond cakes of Juji Bakery are fragrant. It is very satisfying to try them all the way. Then head to the Ruins of St. Paul's Fortress, a former military fortress with an excellent view. You can overlook the city of Macau and feel the vicissitudes of history.
Noon: Try the signature shrimp wonton noodles at nearby Huang Zhi Ji. The smooth noodles paired with the delicious wontons will make you fall in love with them at first bite.
Afternoon: Love Lane → Senate Square
Walk out from the fortress to Love Lane. The romantic pink and yellow buildings are super photogenic. You can take a photo of the atmosphere in minutes. Then go to Senate Square, where you will see the characteristic Portuguese gravel wavy pattern floor. The surrounding Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau building and the Holy House of Mercy building fully display the Portuguese architectural style.

Day 2: A Small Artistic Stroll

Morning: Our Lady of L'Avenida de Mundo
As one of the three oldest churches in Macau, it is Baroque-style, with yellow exterior walls and green shutters. It is particularly fresh in the sun. Walking into the church, it is quiet and solemn.
Noon: Enjoy a light meal at a coffee shop near Fengtang Alley, and stroll through the alley's artistic specialty shops and graffiti murals.
Afternoon: Guia Street → Garcia Garden
Guia Street is known as the "Little Kamakura of Macau". Under the blue sky and white clouds, colorful houses are matched with green mailboxes, which is full of Japanese atmosphere. Take photos with the Guia Lighthouse in the distance as the background and dominate the circle of friends. Finally, we came to the Gaslan Garden, which is shaded by green trees and has a unique European-style fountain. When you are tired of strolling around, you can find a bench to sit down and enjoy a relaxing time.

🚗Transportation: Macau is not large and many attractions can be reached on foot. For those that are a little further away, you can take the bus or a taxi. Prepare the Macau Pass or change in advance as it is more convenient to take the bus.
💡Tips: Get a Hong Kong and Macau Pass in advance and exchange some Macau patacas. Although mobile payment is popular, it is still a good idea to have some cash on hand just in case.

This guide combines classic and niche check-in spots, and takes you to immerse yourself in the charm of Macau in two days. Family members, feel free to go ahead and start an unforgettable trip to Macau!
