Walking through the bustling streets and entering the Guanyin Hall (Puji Zen Temple), the hustle and bustle of the world immediately disappears with the world behind you. This quaint temple stands quietly amidst the green shade, like a hermit who lives in harmony with the world. The vermilion gate is painted with auspicious cloud patterns, and the finely carved details reveal the piety of the ancient craftsmen. As you step into the main hall, the smoke from incense lingers in the air, filling the entire temple with solemnity and tranquility. The statue of Guanyin has kind eyes and gentle gaze, as if able to comfort everyone who comes to pray. I stood quietly in the hall, hearing the whispered chanting of scriptures and the subtle sound of burning incense, and the troubles in my heart seemed to dissipate. The courtyard outside the temple is equally enchanting. Stone lanterns stand quietly among the verdant bamboo forest, as if protecting this holy place. The koi in the pond swim leisurely, the ripples reflect the sky, and there is a sense of Zen in the movement and stillness. When I left, I looked back and saw the temple glittering in the afterglow of the setting sun, as if whispering blessings. Guanyin Hall is not only a temple, but also a spiritual harbor.
