Macau Food Guide | A Must-Visit for Birthdays! The Mews Michelin Thai Culinary Adventure

I've always dreamed of attending Thailand's Loy Krathong Festival, but year-end holidays are hard to come by. Luckily, I stumbled upon The Mews at The Londoner Macau, whose lantern-inspired decor exudes Thai charm. Instantly, I decided this would be the perfect spot for my birthday dinner celebration!

Entering the restaurant was an enchanting experience! The waiter guided us through a bar designed with inspiration from old British stables. He gently knocked on a door adorned with horsewhips, which slowly opened to reveal exquisite Thai textiles and artwork. As we followed the waiter further, vibrant lanterns came into view, and our reserved table was set right beneath these colorful lights, creating a magical and ceremonial atmosphere ❤️

As for the flavors, the pairing of ingredients and seasonings was exceptional, delivering surprises from the very first appetizer. The taste of the egg crepe was particularly unforgettable. However, the birthday cake gifted by the restaurant was coconut-flavored, which wasn't quite to my liking.

Regarding service, a friend who had visited before noted the absence of the dessert cart this time, which was slightly disappointing 🤏🏻. Fortunately, since we dined late, we had the chance to take official-style photos without interruptions—a delightful bonus! 👏🏻👏🏻
