Travel to Macau 🇲🇴 Traveling from Hong Kong 🇭🇰

Traveling from Hong Kong to Macau has 2 options: by bus 🚌 and by boat 🛥️. Traveling by boat is suitable for those staying on Hong Kong Island, but we are on the Kowloon side, Tsim Sha Tsui area 🚌. We took bus A21 to HMG Port, one stop past the airport sign. After scanning through immigration, there will be a ticket booth to buy a bus ticket to Macau for 65 HKD. You can pay with an Octopus card or buy it at the counter and pay in cash. When you reach immigration on the Macau side, follow the signs to take a bus into the city. Bus 101x goes to the Taipa Old Town area, bus 102x goes to the New Town and casino area. As for us, we went to the Old Town area first, took the 101x to walk around and find something to eat, went into the Lisboa Casino, and then took bus 21A to the Londoner area, which is a European city. Note: Hong Kong dollars can be used in Macau, but they will withdraw them in Macau MOP. Macau currency cannot be used in Hong Kong, and Octopus cards cannot be used in Macau either.
