Sleeping amidst the rice fields at Ban Pa Bong Piang

If you want to experience nature in its purest form, we highly recommend Ban Pa Bong Piang in Chiang Mai. This is a unique stay in a small wooden house located right in the middle of terraced rice fields. The house is simple, featuring only a bedroom with a mattress, mosquito net, and a small balcony for dining. There is no electricity, only solar-powered lights and water sourced from a nearby waterfall.

The accommodation includes breakfast and dinner, but it’s advisable to bring your own snacks and drinks. To get here, drive along the Doi Inthanon route and take a detour. The road is in good condition but narrow and winding, so drive carefully.
