Following my advice, I decided to go to Malaysia for my first overseas trip.

When traveling abroad, you can’t miss Malaysia, a visa-free country. After all, who allows it to have the same jelly sea as Malaysia, and the price is very cost-effective. You can have a lot of fun with about 💰4k!

Travel preparation
▪️Phone card: You can buy celcom in advance and insert the card on the floor to use it
▪️Visa: Malaysia is visa-free. Just prepare your hotel reservation and air ticket itinerary in advance.
▪️Money: The currency of Malaysia is the Malaysian ringgit, or RM for short. It can be exchanged for some small denominations and is used as a spare for shopping.
▪️Clothes: wetsuits, dresses, sun protection clothing, slippers, sneakers, etc.

🌊Semporna
It’s a small town, but it has a crystal clear sea where you can go island hopping, snorkeling, deep diving, fishing, etc.
Attractions: Kapalai, Timba Timba, Lover's Bay Water Park, Sipadan, etc.

🌊Kuala Lumpur
It is the capital of Malaysia, a vibrant modern city with rich cultural and historical heritage! Prices are similar to those in second- and third-tier cities in China, so it’s very cost-effective to buy.
Attractions: Kuala Lumpur Tower, Petronas Twin Towers, Merdeka Square, Petaling Street, Pink Mosque, etc.

🌊Kota Kinabalu
A small city with city scenery and island scenery, where you can see beautiful sunrises and sunsets, beautiful beaches, and tropical rainforests
Tourist attractions: Tanjung Aru Beach, Kawa Mangrove, University of Sabah, Floating Mosque, Mermaid Island, etc.

Things to note
1️⃣Don’t eat durian or mangosteen in the hotel. If you buy it and eat it outside, you will be fined if you find it.
2️⃣Malaysians avoid eating pork and do not talk about pork.
3️⃣There will be thunderstorms in summer, so remember to bring an umbrella when you go out
4️⃣AirAsia and Uber can be used as taxi-hailing apps
