Layover Luck: One Unexpected Day in Malta 🇲🇹

Malta wasn't actually on my original Europe itinerary, but I ended up with a day-long layover there on my way from Paris to Rome-and I'm so glad I did!
I spent the day exploring Valletta, and really enjoyed just wandering around. The narrow alleys lined with colorful doors and unique door knobs were so charming.

Fun fact: those door knobs used to be a status symbol back in the day!
