One night in Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭

I stayed in Manila for a night due to a layover onwards to Bangkok. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m so glad I got the opportunity to experience being in the Philippines for a day. The moment I arrived into the airport the staff were gently, friendly and very helpful. Be sure to get a SIM card at the airport even if you are staying for night! It was only 500 pesos, which was set up quickly by the staff. My taxi drivers were great to talk to and didn’t try any funny business with over charging, although e sure not to get the random taxi drivers that come up to you at the airport as they will charge you up to six times more than the normal rate as an airport taxi. my hotel was fantastic quality and again the Filipino staff were so accommodating. Even though it was just one night I really enjoy the time I had to walk around, eat the local food and get to understand the culture and customs in the Philippines 🇵🇭 #urbanexplorer
