There are 50,000 hydrangeas in the temple grounds
A little off the beaten path, but many tourists visit the temple to see the 5,000 irises.
You can also enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in autumn.
When you enter the temple grounds through the Niomon Gate, you will find a five-story pagoda on top of a slope of hydrangeas.
This is a popular photo spot where you can capture hydrangeas and the five-story pagoda.
The flowers were wet after the rain, so I enjoyed the glossy hydrangeas.
The path from the station to Hondoji Temple was bustling with souvenir shops and restaurants.
