[Kamikochi, Nagano] The hotel where Ghibli's "The Wind Rises" was set ⛰️

I've always wanted to stay here, so I made a reservation in March of this year!!!

The exterior and interior are cute, the staff's hospitality is amazing, and it's such a wonderful hotel that I want to stay here every year 🥺

⚫︎You can stay in a stylish and cute classic hotel ✨
⚫︎The amenities are MIKIMOTO, and they're travel-sized so you can take them home with you 🙆‍♀️
⚫︎The staff will carefully explain how to explore Kamikochi and the inside of the building (I felt their hospitality very much 👀)
⚫︎The food is delicious...🤤 (I was staying without meals, but if there is availability, you can reserve additional meals when you check in)
⚫︎You can drink as much delicious mountain water as you want 💧

⚫︎It's popular, You can't stay here unless you make a reservation several months in advance!!! (There were vacancies on weekdays just before, but as of March, almost all dates in July and August were booked)
⚫︎If it rains heavily, the nearby tunnel will be closed, and you may not be able to go to Kamikochi in the first place😂 (I also had heavy rain on my check-in day...the hotel contacted me and said, please come early before the road is closed!)
⚫︎Because it's the Imperial Hotel, the accommodation and food are quite expensive🥲
(It cost about 45,000 yen for one night for two people without meals - it varies depending on the room and the season, but even the cheapest one is still about 40,000 yen)
