Matsumoto, Nagano. "Matsumoto Castle Town Springs"

The famous spring water "Matsumoto Castle Town Spring Water Group" is recognized by the Ministry of the Environment.

It is mainly located in the area around Matsumoto Castle, east and south, which is the southern half of the castle town, but there are many wells and spring water intake points that can be used freely throughout the city.

It is also featured on the city's tourist map, "Matsumoto Water Tour Map".
It also recommends bringing your own bottle and enjoying the water tour.

There are many springs, but one of the recommended ones is Metoba no Izumi, which is used for making sake.

There are also walking courses to enjoy the spring water, so please try them out!

There are signs and freely available explanation plaques at the spring water spots on the street corners, so it's easy to collect water😊
