Kamikochi in Autumn

One-day trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi: We rented a car and drove there and back, which took about 4 hours one way. Upon arrival, we parked the car at Sawando Parking No.3 for 700 yen, then took a taxi into the park. The taxi fare for 4 people was 10,000 yen. Once inside the park, we explored various spots, but we thought the Kappa Bridge was the most beautiful location.

The return trip took 7 hours because it coincided with a long holiday in Japan, causing heavy traffic. We couldn't return the car on time. Definitely not recommended to do this again, haha.

Still, it was a very memorable trip. Driving with close friends, enjoying the roadside scenery, and visiting stunning places—so beautiful that it was even better than the photos! If I get the chance, I’ll definitely go again, but probably not as a one-day trip, haha. 😀
