A day trip to Matsushima Coast and Fukuura Island. The beautiful Friendship Bridge is a must-see when you come to Sendai

There are actually several paid attractions on the Matsushima Coast, but I personally think Fukuura Island is one of the must-visit places.

Tickets are only 200 yen, but you can stay here for an hour or two and even take a lot of forest-themed photos!

The entrance is this building. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the downtown area and more than 20 minutes to walk from the station.

But it is really a special attraction.

Then there is the Fukuura Bridge, the biggest attraction of Fukuura Island.

When you see the big attractions on the Matsushima coast, you will definitely see this red bridge. Many people check in on this bridge.

The Fukuura Bridge connects Matsushima Main Island and Fukuura Island. It is a very large island.

This red Fukuura Bridge is very good for taking pictures. It has a great view with the green island in front and the blue sea and blue sky.

You can see the entire coast without any blind spots.
