If you were to try the same food in Tokyo or Osaka, it would cost 1.5-2 times as much. Everything is delicious, and the staff are friendly and fun. They'll even ask about the flavor and astringency of local Ehime sake and recommend a drink.

This was my fifth visit.
I always visit whenever I travel for business or pleasure.

Even early in the day, the place is bustling with customers, from solo diners to those with reservations and international visitors. I recommend making a reservation even on weekdays!

The seasonally changing menu is also appealing.

No matter how many times I visit, I never get bored.

In this warmer season, it's nice to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air, and Matsuyama Castle Park is right in front of me.

They lend out blankets in the winter, so you can enjoy a beer outside. (Even in winter, ice-cold beer is the best.)
