Intimate Hotel and Golf Experience at Its Best

This hotel offers a remarkable experience for those seeking a cozy atmosphere paired with excellent golfing. My wife and I visited for her 60th birthday, both passionate about golf. The Le chateau course is an extraordinary golfing adventure, allowing us to play solo 7 times in what can only be described as a millionaire's golf setting, reserved exclusively for members and hotel guests. We also splurged on La Reserve Golf Links, and OMG, it was absolutely worth the £140—definitely among my top 5 courses played globally (H/C 7), with breathtaking views and an unparalleled golf experience! The quietness of the hotel was perfect for us, and the service was flawless. Hensley at the bar deserves a special mention—his attentiveness is unmatched, and others could learn from his courteous manner. Vikram in the Indian restaurant replicated this welcoming atmosphere, making us feel thoroughly at ease. Nawaz at breakfast engaged us in delightful conversations each morning, seamlessly providing our coffee. In fact, all the staff, far too many to list individually, were incredibly friendly. We rented a car for 2 days through Avis—extremely cheap and convenient—allowing us to explore the stunning island with its breathtaking views, historical sites, and natural beauty. Overall, this was a fantastic vacation, and I would readily recommend it to anyone.
