Pont Naturel Mauritius - Geological curiosity

You can find it in all the guides and travel diaries and so I went there too. It is a natural rock bridge carved by the sea, as shown in the photo. Looking at it from a distance, it seems narrow, but as you get closer you realize that it is wide enough to pass over. I did not dare, but I saw local guides and relative tourists in tow do it quietly. You can have a local guide accompany you, but if you have a car, you can go there yourself. The best way to enter the plantation is to leave the B8 at point 20°27'15.6"S 57°38'42.9"E. Follow the road until the paved section ends, next to an open space with Hindu newsstands. From here you can continue straight or turn right immediately and continue zigzagging towards the destination indicated by the navigator. The advice is to adjust at the moment, choosing from time to time the road that seems in better condition. At the end, you arrive at a small clearing where you can park and with a short walk you get to the sea. The Natural Bridge is on the right and can only be seen as you approach the sea.
