Visited Casela which on our honeymoon, and decided to book the additional experiences of the Eco Rider and Drive Thru with Lions/ Tigers.
The Eco Rider was a very good experience, and our guide Allen was amazing at providing lots of information, looking after everyone, and was a personal photographer for us all. At the start of the experience we were split up into smaller groups, which made it more personal. The animals come up close, and the guides make sure you ate safe throughout, even giving us chance to see and stroke the giant tortoises.
The Drive Thru was also very good, and gave us a chance to get up close with the lions and tigers. The van is full, and dependant which sides of the animals are on it can be harder to see, but this is something that cannot be controlled.
We also went on the Tulawaka which is included in the entrance ticket price, which did have a 45 minute. However it was fun, and gave some lovely views.
As adults without children, I feel the park wouldn’t be worth the money if you didn’t do the extra experiences at an additional cost. To get from one side of the park to another, you have to take a shuttle bus as nobody is allowed to walk between the areas, and this did add unwanted time waiting. It is important to bear this in mind when booking things, as you have to be at your experience 15-30 mins prior, and the shuttles weren’t at set times.
