Meizhou 1000 Buddha Pagoda

We took a short taxi from central Meizhou to get to this amazing complex. it took about 15 minutes to get there and no Hassle. You can also walk there from the Hakka Museum which is another must see.

There were many many beautiful temples and the pagoda at the top was stunning. There was a great view from the top of Meizhou and very few people. It is an active temple so it's expected that you are quiet and respectful of those who are living and praying there.

There is a lot to see and we spent over an hour there, though the weather was hot we were able to buy some water from some ladies out front.

The complex was free to visit and I definitely suggest it as a quick place to see while staying in Meizhou.
