Qilian Mountains - Gangshika Snow Peak

Qilian Mountains · Gangshika Scenic Area. Upon entering the scenic area, everyone was handed a sausage, munching on it as we walked to the shuttle station. Suddenly, it started raining. Wait, no—it was snowing, heavily snowing, a mix of snow and rain. As the vehicle ascended the mountain, the snow grew heavier, and the wind stronger! The blizzard was so intense that the windshield wipers were working at their maximum speed. Sitting inside the shuttle bus, we began to question our life choices! On the winding mountain roads, the storm gradually subsided. Thankfully, as we reached the final stop at the top of the mountain and got off the bus, the rain had stopped, leaving only light snowflakes drifting in the air. Wow—soon after, the sun came out! Life went from black and white to vibrant colors in just an instant!

On this late-May day at the snowy mountain, it wasn’t cold! The wind wasn’t strong! We were quite lucky!
