A mega Buddhist temple with multiple styles in Mianyang

Other than Shengshui Temple, another great temple Mianyang has to offer is Luohan Temple.

There are quite a few highlights to this temple. One is the white stupas which is of the typical Nepalese style, and the other is the colorful formation of Buddhist statues. On top of them, the Luohan Hall, which houses over a thousand unique life-sized arhat statues, each with distinct expressions and poses, is also a must-see.

Do reserve two hours for the temple because the temple is much larger than usual—and four hours if you’re visiting Shengshui temple together.
