[Yamanashi Prefecture] A worship site known as the Torii Gate in the Sky

Mount Fuji Worship Site ⛩️

This worship site was built on the mountain behind Kawaguchi Asama Shrine.
It was built in March 2019.
Its purpose was to provide a place where people could experience the worship of Mount Fuji through "remote worship," "shugen," and "touring."

You'll see it after climbing the mountain path from Kawaguchi Asama Shrine.
It's a simple vermilion-lacquered torii gate, but the majestic Mount Fuji🗻 view from here is sure to impress anyone.
