Tokyo Street Japanese Restaurant (Sai Yeung Choi Street South) (Prince Edward) 📍
G/F, 228 Sai Yeung Choi Street South, Prince Edward
After walking around Mong Kok, I went to Tokyo Street Japanese Cuisine, a reasonably priced Japanese restaurant behind Pioneer Centre. I was attracted by its Japanese-style decoration and decided to have a feast.
The restaurant is decorated in a Japanese style, with wood as the main color and soft and elegant chandeliers, as if you are in Japan 🇯🇵. Chopsticks, mustard and tableware are placed on the table for guests to use.
Assorted Treasure Box C:
Very rich! There is salmon sashimi: fresh, sweet and rich, with a higher fat content and a more obvious sweetness. The meat is firm and elastic, and you can feel the fine fibers when chewing. Hamachi: Smooth and not greasy. Sweet shrimp sashimi; so soft and sticky! Tuna: Rich in umami flavor with a slight sour taste.
Oysters: The meat is plump, full of metallic taste of seawater, and has a strong seawater taste. Tamagoyaki: sweet, Japanese Daifuku: surprisingly chocolate flavored, soft crust with vanilla filling, moderate sweetness. The scallop sushi is very cheesy and is topped with rich fish roe. The California roll is very refreshing with a lot of salad dressing and the cucumber. Japanese pan-fried dumplings: The pork pan-fried dumplings have a crispy and delicious skin. California roll: a good balance of sweet and salty, and full of salad dressing, even the kids can enjoy it.
Sushi 🍱 Set Meal:
The salmon is plump and delicious. The hamachi is rich in fat, the pond fish is elastic, the octopus, red sea bream, Hokkaido scallop, fish roe flower love, giant red shrimp, tuna, California roll, miso soup, and chawanmushi: it is sun-dried and smooth, with a delicate and tender texture like pudding, full of miso flavor, and contains chikuwa and crab sticks, delicious. The whole set meal was quite filling.
Boiled abalone sashimi: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, very easy to chew, the abalone is slow-cooked until it is soft and tasty, the abalone in the soy sauce is sweet and rich, bringing out the freshness, it is completely soaked in soy sauce, without any fishy smell, and sweet juice oozes out when chewing.
Sesame Octopus🐙: The rich aroma of fried octopus, the octopus is very tender and elastic, paired with Japanese sesame sauce, a good snack with wine.
Summarize:
