Although Mount Tai is high, it is only a mountain under the sky.

The place name Taishan (泰山) that everyone has heard of at least once is a familiar mountain that can be found in our proverbs.

In ancient times, among the Five Great Mountains of China, the Dongyue Mountain was this Taishan Mountain, and many Chinese emperors climbed it to perform rituals.

As a tourist destination, Taishan is very famous for its sunrise,
and on the other hand, it is also famous for the enormous stairs that lead to the end of the mountain. If you look at the laborers carrying water up the stairs to the village at the peak of the mountain,
it is a place where you can learn about life,
and that it is not easy to make a living.

However, depending on your physical condition, travelers can take a bus to the Zhongtianmen Gate in the middle of the mountain,
or they can take a cable car all the way to the peak.

No matter how you climb, the most important thing is the sunrise!! Literally, when the sun begins to peek out from the mountains covered in fog, cheers start to erupt here and there.

To see the sunrise, it is best to stay at accommodations on the top of the mountain, and most accommodations offer a service that wakes you up before sunrise and takes you to the viewing point.
The facilities are not great, but the price is not that expensive, so
the cost-effectiveness is quite good.
