Love at first sight! Stumbled upon a dreamy vacation cottage in the Beijing suburbs!

Last weekend while taking my kids to the countryside, we accidentally discovered this magical little house and were instantly captivated.

It looks just like a cottage straight out of a fairy tale,
complete with tiny terraces and gazebos woven from twigs—
the kids played inside,
feeling like they were nesting in real birdhouses!

The yard has a spacious lawn and plenty of cozy spots to lounge around,
fruit trees heavy with red cherries,
and little ducks splashing in the pond by the house.
A crystal-clear stream runs right beside the cottage,
shaded by lush trees—perfect for kids to splash and catch fish.
There’s even a cool, open area by the stream for camping,
with mountain views and fresh forest air—
an ideal summer getaway for families!

Sadly, we hadn’t booked in advance, so we couldn’t stay overnight,
but we spent half a day just relaxing in the yard.
Next time, we’re definitely bringing the kids back for a stay!
