Father Ban Laem

Luang Pho Ban Laem, Phet Samut Worawihan Temple, Samut Songkhram Province
🌿It is considered a sacred Buddha image of Samut Songkhram Province. The alms-carrying posture is approximately 2 meters and 80 centimeters high, cast in brass and covered in gold.

🪷According to legend, there are 5 Buddha images floating from the northern region. When they arrived in the central region, they were separated and enshrined in 5 provinces.

🙏The first one floated down the Bang Pakong River and was enshrined at Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan in Chachoengsao Province. It is called Luang Pho Sothon.
🙏The second one floated down the Nakhon Chai Si River and was enshrined at Wat Rai Khing. Nakhon Chai Si City (Sam Phran District), Nakhon Pathom Province, is called Luang Pho Wat Rai Khing. 🙏 The third one floated down the Chao Phraya River and was enshrined at Wat Phlap Phla Chai Chan Songkhram, Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province, and was called Luang Pho To. 🙏 The fourth one floated down the Mae Klong River and was enshrined at Wat Phet Samut Worawihan, Mae Klong City, now Samut Songkhram Province, and was called Luang Pho Ban Laem. 🙏 The fifth one floated down the Phetchaburi River and was enshrined at Wat Khao Takrao, Phetchaburi Province, and was called Luang Pho Khao Takrao.
