On the hill behind the Lycian Hanging Coffin in the small town of Fethiye, Türkiye, there is a thousand-year-old monument called Fethiye Eski Kilise. It is said to be a watchtower built 2000 years ago. It was a guard tower designed to spot the invaders. After the baptism of time, now only a few ruins remain.
Climbing up a nearby hillside offers a panoramic view of Fethiye city and the bay. 007 Skyfall was filmed here. Here is the best place to take pictures with the view of Fethiye city.
