"Kanheri Caves" in Mumbai, India. The Buddha sculptures in the caves are spectacular, and the train and bus ride to get there is fun. Just like India!!🇮🇳

The Kanheri Caves are a complex of 109 rock-cut caves built between the 1st and 10th centuries BC. From the tourist and hotel area in the south, Churchgate Station is the closest and starting station, so you can find a seat. The train has no doors! The number of passengers increases with each stop, creating a chaotic atmosphere inside. Passengers jump off the train before it even stops! "India is amazing!" 40 minutes later, we arrived at Borivali Station. The entrance to the national park where the Kanheri Caves are located is not far, but it's a 20-minute walk through the hustle and bustle. From the entrance, a bus belching black smoke climbs the mountain, arriving at the cave temples. There were no foreign tourists in sight, and only a few Indians here and there had the place to themselves! Inside the carved caves, the carved pillars and Buddha statues create a sacred atmosphere, creating a solemn atmosphere. All of the Buddha statues are magnificent, and feel a sense of familiarity for Japanese people. The style is better than those in China or Japan!
