Nagoya Night
Nagoya Travelogue – The Excitement of the First Evening
Arriving in Nagoya around dusk, the city's vibrant energy and neon lights greeted travelers. A little tired from the long drive, I decided, "Beer is a must on the first day of a trip!" and headed straight to a local izakaya. A cold Nagoya draft beer paired with a local snack, monjayaki, quickly made the unfamiliar city feel familiar.
The tower, seen from above amidst the sparkling nightscape, seemed like a symbol of the start of my trip. I finally felt a sense of accomplishment: "I'm in Nagoya!"
The highlight of the next day was watching a baseball game.
Ichiran Ramen before the game was a must, haha.
Entering the Nagoya Dome, the excitement and cheers of the fans enveloped me. Japanese professional baseball, with its distinct atmosphere from Korea, was more impressive for the cheering culture and the passion of the audience than the actual game itself. As we cheered and enjoyed chicken and beer amidst the cheering crowds that filled the stadium, the stadium felt more than just a sports venue, it felt like a festival.
It was a short trip, but the leisurely evening beer → the excitement of the tower → the roar of the stadium. These three scenes connected, leaving a lasting impression of my Nagoya trip.
