If you have a free morning in Nagoya, head to Osu Kannon area — it’s full of history, cute cafés, and a very special spot: the Rabbit Shrine (Miwa Shrine) 🐰💖.
At the shrine you’ll find rabbit statues, lucky charms, and ema plaques with rabbits painted on them. It’s peaceful and photogenic 📸🌿.
After your visit, explore the streets around:
☕ Kannon Coffee – famous for hand-drip coffee and desserts 🍰
☕ Coffee Kanon – small, cozy café near the gate
🍜 Street food stalls in Osu Shopping District – try takoyaki or karaage 🍡
🌳 For a break, walk to Shirakawa Park or Tsuruma Park. Both are perfect to relax and take photos under the trees.
🪐 If you love museums, nearby is the Nagoya City Science Museum with its huge planetarium.
✨ Tips:
Go early in the morning for calm atmosphere and best light 🌅
Bring some cash 💴 (small shops may not accept cards)
Osu Shopping District also has antique markets on the 18th & 28th of each month 🛍️
Nagoya is often skipped by travelers, but Osu area is full of surprises — from traditional shrines to coffee gems. A perfect half-day trip! 🌸
