Pasan | Landmark of the starting point of the Chao Phraya River

At the Beginning of the River... We Stand in the Middle of a Journey

The Journey”

One morning in Nakhon Sawan, I visited Phasan, a landmark building located on Koh Yom, where the Ping and Nan Rivers converge to form the Chao Phraya River. The confluence of two-colored waters, a sight rarely seen in big cities, makes me feel like I'm at the origin of something bigger than myself.

🗺️ Location Information
📍 Address: Koh Yom, Pak Nam Pho Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Sawan Province. ⏰ Best time to visit: Morning or evening - soft light and cool air. ⿼
💡 Highlights: The interlocking curves of the building resemble the convergence of four streams - Ping, Wang, Yom, and Nan. ⿼

🖼️ Personal Experience
Walking through Phasan's glass balcony, I felt like I was "on the way" - between water, between time, between past and future.
I sat and watched the two-colored river flow into one… and thought—every time we start a journey, we might just be standing at the beginning of something we haven't arrived yet.

I recommend coming here as the sun sets—the sound of small boats floating by, the cool breeze blowing by the river—and capturing the "two-colored river," the reflection of the water, and the curved buildings that fully embrace the view.
