Night photo spots at Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang, plus a photo guide for Shengjin Tower.

Photo guide for Nanchang|A must-visit hidden gem for night tours at Tengwang Pavilion🏮

Nanchang’s night scene is truly full of charm! The thousand-year-old ancient building hidden in the concrete jungle looks cinematic with every shot. This time, I specifically visited the super photogenic Tengwang Pavilion and am sharing my must-shoot spots and night tour tips👇

📍Recommended photo spots:
✔️Front of the main building: Stand on the opposite street to capture the entire pavilion along with the surrounding modern buildings, creating a stunning contrast of ancient and modern (shooting here on rainy days adds a Jiangnan poetic vibe)
✔️Second-floor corridor: An upward angle here captures the layered flying eaves of Tengwang Pavilion beautifully
✔️Riverside platform: Shoot during the blue hour at dusk, when the Yangtze River reflects the pavilion’s lights perfectly
✔️Light show time: Starts every night at 8 PM sharp, lasts 15 minutes; under dynamic lighting, the pavilion looks like a living ancient painting

✨Useful tips:
- It’s recommended to buy a night ticket (entry after 6:30 PM) to catch both sunset and night scenes
- Ticket checking stops at 9 PM, but you can keep shooting until the park closes at 10 PM
- Nearby is a barbecue spot called "Old Three Delicacies" (No. 32 Antique Street) open until late, perfect for a late-night snack after shooting
- Bring a transparent umbrella! Rainy days add atmosphere (we got some super poetic shots in light rain)
