Zhangzhou is really not recommended to visit from now until next month because it’s just too~~

Day 1: Explore Tulou, Stroll through Yunshuiyao

🚗 Transportation: It is recommended to charter a car or drive yourself (Zhangzhou city center → Nanjing Tulou about 1.5 hours)

📍 Route:

• Morning:

◦ Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster (“Four Dishes and One Soup”): panoramic view, take photos of the iconic Tulou cluster.

◦ Yuchang Lou (“Leaning Tower”): 700 years old, unique structure.

• Afternoon:

◦ Yunshuiyao Ancient Town: walk the ancient path, see century-old banyan trees, check in at the waterwheel from the movie "Yunshuiyao."

◦ Taxia Village: small bridges, flowing water, and homes; super healing when the lights come on at dusk.

• Overnight: Stay in a guesthouse in Yunshuiyao or Taxia Village (recommended to stay in a Tulou converted inn to experience Hakka culture).

🍜 Food:

• Lunch: Tulou farmhouse dishes (salted chicken, dried bamboo shoots with pork, light fish soup).

• Dinner: Small restaurant by the stream in Yunshuiyao, try Hakka stuffed tofu and braised pork with preserved vegetables.

Day 2: Zhangzhou Ancient City + Volcano Island (or Dongshan Island)

📍 Option A: Volcano Island popular check-in spots (suitable for photography lovers)

• Morning: Zhangzhou Ancient City (Confucian Temple, Hong Kong Road arcade buildings, drink four-fruit soup).

• Afternoon: Drive 1.5 hours to Volcano Island (Rainbow Mountain, Monument Valley, coastal volcanic rocks).

• Overnight: Stay near Volcano Island or return to Zhangzhou city center.

📍 Option B: Romantic island tour of Dongshan Island (suitable for those who like a slow pace)

• Morning: Take the high-speed train to Yunxiao Station (about 30 minutes), then taxi to Dongshan Island (40 minutes).

• Afternoon:

◦ Nanmen Bay: colorful houses + bay, same filming location as Left Ear.

◦ Su Fengshan Island Ring Road: ride an electric scooter to see the sea view (Blue Bridge is a must-shoot).

• Overnight: Stay in a guesthouse at Nanmen Bay (recommended sea view room, fall asleep to the sound of waves).

• Morning: Drive or charter a car to Lingtong Mountain (about 1.5 hours), climb the Hanging Temple “Lingtong Rock,” see the mist swirling.

• Afternoon: On the way back, visit Pinghe Guanxi pomelo orchard (pick fruit in autumn).

📍 Option B: Liu’ao Peninsula Windmill Beach (suitable for leisure travel)

• Morning: Liu’ao Emerald Bay (fine sandy beach, few people, beautiful scenery).

• Afternoon: Abstract Gallery (windmills + sea erosion wonders), take Instagram-worthy photos.

🚗 Return: Choose to return to Zhangzhou city center or go directly to the high-speed rail station/airport according to your itinerary.
