The Six Dynasties Museum, a must-visit museum in the ancient capital of Nanjing

The Six Dynasties Museum is a distinctive historical and cultural museum that officially opened to the public in 2014. It is located at No. 302 Changjiang Road, Xuanwu District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The museum focuses on the six dynasties of Eastern Wu, Eastern Jin, Song, Qi, Liang, and Chen, all of which had their capitals in Nanjing, making the city the "Ancient Capital of the Six Dynasties." The museum was established following the 2007 archaeological discovery of the rammed earth walls of the Six Dynasties Jiankang Palace City, a site of great significance for studying the layout of the Six Dynasties palace city.
