[Sefa-Utaki] Okinawa's proud World Cultural Heritage Site

Since the days of the Ryukyu Kingdom, this site has been the site of numerous important rituals, offering prayers of gratitude to the gods for the blessings of nature.

The spiritual culture that Sefa Utaki preserves today is said to contain an important message for people around the world to live in harmony and build a peaceful and prosperous future. 🌱

Entrance is required, and a guided tour is provided on a monitor. For those who wish to learn more, a reservation-only guided tour is also available. You'll hear fascinating stories about the myths surrounding Sefa Utaki, the history and spiritual culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom, and more.

There are some steep slopes, as well as many steps and wet areas within the site, so wearing comfortable sneakers is recommended. Also, as this is a sacred site, wearing excessively revealing clothing is recommended.

《From Naha Bus Terminal to Sefa Utaki》
🚌 Take Toyo Bus No. 338 (Platform 7) and get off at Sefa Utaki Iriguchi (approximately 70 minutes/¥960)

👆 After getting off at "Sefa Utaki Iriguchi," purchase an admission ticket at the ticket booth in the front parking lot, then proceed to the Sefa Utaki entrance (Green Hall/Sefa). (Approximately 7-10 minute walk) (approximately 500m)

⚠️ Due to the limited number of direct buses, you may need to transfer depending on the time of day.
🌟 Nanjo City also offers transportation options like the "Odekake Nanji" (shared bus) and "N Bus."

*Although there are occasional buses that accept credit cards, most only accept cash or OKICA cards. Electronic payment methods like Suica and PASMO are not currently accepted on buses within Okinawa Prefecture, so if you plan to use the bus, be sure to bring plenty of cash. ⭐️
