Exploring Monet's Water Lilies in Qingxiu Mountain

As early summer arrives, the star of Qingxiu Mountain's aquatic flowers—the water lilies—begin to bloom. I visited in mid-May, entering the park through the East Gate specifically to see the water lilies.

The water lilies were in full bloom, and I visited the two most popular viewing spots. The scenery was absolutely stunning and dreamlike:

1⃣️ Monet Garden: This area features a bridge surrounded by a large expanse of water lilies, creating a scene straight out of Monet's famous water lily paintings.
2⃣️ Jungle Paradise: Near the children's playground, the dense growth of water lilies between the large lake and the trees creates a lush and vibrant view.

Monet Garden is more convenient for taking portrait photos, while Jungle Paradise is better suited for capturing close-ups of the flowers. The park also recommends another viewing spot, Zhuangyuan Spring, which I didn't visit. If you're interested, you can add it to your itinerary.

The water lilies are typically in bloom between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, so make sure to plan your visit accordingly. After enjoying the water lilies, you can hop on the mini train to explore other areas of the park. The park boasts a high vegetation coverage rate, with a wide variety of flowers and plants. However, mosquitoes are quite common, so don't forget to bring mosquito repellent or ointment to stay protected.
