Here’s why Nanning’s Qingxiu Mountain is the perfect chill spot for a day out if you want gorgeous nature, wildlife watching, and epic photo ops 🌿📸
Qingxiu Mountain Park is massive—think endless flower gardens, lush hills, and bamboo forests, all just a short walk from the metro. Entry is RMB 20, scan the QR code at the entry or purchase at the ticket office
Must-See:
— Wander the main paths among rare plants, pagodas, and Instagrammable lake views.
— Look out for native wildlife (birds, butterflies, chill squirrels).
— Head to the flower gardens for bright colors—even in winter.
— Pack your own lunch and snacks; in-park food is limited/pricey, and there are cute picnic spots everywhere.
— Clean bathrooms (top tier for this part of China).
Transport Hacks: Metro to Qingxiu Mountain Station, then grab the park shuttle cart (RMB 5–10 per ride) if you want to skip walking between highlights.
Local Tips: Sunscreen and lots of water—shade is limited! Powerbank is a lifesaver for all the great scenery shots, and food from outside is allowed. Get there early if you want quieter trails and better wildlife sightings.
Food Recs: Outside the park, try local Guangxi noodles shops near the metro station for a cheap, tasty meal.
Cash/Card: Most tickets and shuttles accept Alipay/WeChat, a few take cash, but bring small bills just in case. Nanning is hot April–Oct—dress light and hydrate!
