【Banqiao people’s food paradise】

#Nanya Tourist Night Market is a food paradise for Banqiao people, and there are also clothing stores and game stalls. Take the MRT Bannan Line to Fuzhong Station, and walk straight along Xianmin Boulevard from Exit 1 for about 7 minutes to reach your destination.

#蚵仔之家 is the only 40-year-old restaurant specializing in oysters. There were many customers, but it was easy to find a seat to dine because there was a second floor.

There are so many oysters, and each one is so plump and full. There is no fishy smell when you eat it, but personally I don’t particularly like the layer of fruit powder. The soup is light, and goes really well with the chewy and not mushy red noodles, and the bowl is huge.

🦪Oyster Dumplings (TWD 70)
A serving contains four pieces, served with oyster omelette sauce. It's a big one, with a thick skin and rich fillings. In addition to oysters, there are also meat, onions and so on.

🍚 Braised Pork Rice (TWD 30)
The braised pork rice has a mix of fat and lean meat. The amount of meat is not much, but the rice is delicious with the gravy.

#王记好吃芝麻油鸡 This one also has a lot of people queuing up. There are chicken nuggets and chicken legs to choose from, but when we got there the chicken legs were sold out, so we had to wait 20 minutes longer.

🐓Sesame Oil Chicken Nuggets (TWD 120)
You can smell the fragrant sesame oil while queuing in front of the stall. But the sesame oil flavor was not as strong as I had imagined, but rather a stronger smell of wine. The chicken nuggets had a refreshing texture, but the chicken breast was very dry.

#龟记 is a tea shop recommended by a local friend.
🥤Red Water Oolong (TWD 40)
One point of sugar gives you a full fruity tea flavor, which is refreshing and smooth without being astringent.

Aba's Taro Balls is also a taro ball shop that local friends say is delicious!
🥣3Q Sesame Sugarcane Ice (TWD 115)
If you are a sesame lover, I recommend you choose this! The warm and thick sesame paste paired with the sweet sugarcane ice will give you a pleasant surprise. The ingredients include white jade rice balls, tapioca pearls, and taro balls that taste like taro, but not that fake taro spice flavor.
