Many people go to Sun Moon Lake to see the view and may go as a couple. Personally, I went to Sun Moon Lake to ride a bike alone and it was a day trip from Taipei!

How to get there:
From Taipei, the fastest way to travel is by High Speed ​​Rail or HSR, which costs 700 NTD, and then take a bus from Taichung High Speed ​​Rail Station for about 2.5 hours.

At Sun Moon Lake, there are quite a few bike rental shops. You can choose the model and price. However, if you really want to ride a bike, I recommend that you bring a windbreaker because the wind is very cold.

Cycling route:
You can actually ride continuously. The total distance may be more than 40 km, but I only rode for 2 hours because I was tired.

What I really like about riding a bike:

- There are quite a few fellow travelers, so you don't have to worry about being lonely.
