Climb to the summit of Yushan Outpost at 2881 meters --- #Lulinshan.
Early this morning, I took a car with a mountain climbing group to the Lulin Mountain trailhead at 93.1k on Provincial Highway 18 in Xinyi Township, Nantou County, and began a 5-hour mountain hike. My luck blew up today. When I was driving through Alishan, I drove into a sea of clouds. When I arrived at the trailhead, the weather was amazing, the sky was incredibly blue, the sun was shining, and there was no fog. It was amazing!

Today's hiking route is as follows:
Parking lot - Paiyun Mountaineering Service Center - Big Hemlock - Linzhi Pass - Linzhi Mountain Saddle - Lulin Mountain - Lulin Mountain Villa - Linzhi Mountain Trail - Big Hemlock - Tatajia Visitor Center - Parking lot.

The entire journey is 8 kilometers and takes 4.5 hours.
There is actually a lazy way to get to Lulin Mountain, which is to take the asphalt road the entire way and get there super quickly! But we took a detour along the mountain trail. The dirt road and wooden steps were in good condition, but the terrain was quite up and down. In addition, it was a peak with an altitude of 2,881 meters, so we still had altitude sickness and it took a lot of effort to walk.

The Lulin Mountain area has a wide view, and you can even see the South Peak of Yushan Mountain. There are large grasslands, bamboo forests, fir forests, etc. along the way, which makes walking very cool. You also have the opportunity to see wild animals such as muntjacs and weasels.

If you are physically fit, you can walk to the Yushan trailhead at Tataja Saddle, but the slope will be more difficult.
