Cingjing Farm

#清境农民 is a must-go place on the Wushe branch of the Central Cross-Island Highway to Hehuan Mountain. In 1965, the then Premier Chiang Ching-kuo was impressed by the "fresh air at your fingertips and the tranquility of the place, making it a fairyland," so he changed the original name of "Jianqing Farm" to "Cingjing Farm." Because Cingjing Farm is far away from the scorching heat of the city, it is fresh, natural and quiet. The mild climate and abundant rainfall make it a good place to run a ranch and grow temperate vegetables, fruits and flowers.

If you visit Cingjing Farm in spring, you will feel that the farm is thriving. Peach, pear and apple blossoms are in full bloom. Spring tea is harvested throughout April. Foxgloves are in full bloom in the sheep area, and May is the blooming season for wild chrysanthemums in the pastoral area and alpine azaleas on Mount Hehuan. In addition to the different scenery in spring and summer, Cingjing has different scenery in autumn and winter. In October, you can enjoy maple leaves at Cingjing Farm. The fallen maple leaves are scattered everywhere, and the rustling sound when you step on them is very romantic.
