Nantou Jiujufeng Animal Park

Jiujufeng Animal Park, located in Caotun Township, Nantou County, is the largest bird-themed zoo in Asia. It officially opened on August 19, 2022. Spanning 20 hectares, the park is centered around the concept of "ecological education through interaction between humans, animals, and forests," offering visitors a unique natural experience.

· Bird Kingdom: The park features four large aviaries, allowing visitors to observe exotic birds such as parrots, toucans, and flamingos up close, creating the feeling of being in a natural bird habitat.
· Cute Animal Interaction: In addition to birds, the park is home to animals like capybaras, alpacas, meerkats, and sika deer. Visitors can participate in scheduled feeding activities for a fun, hands-on experience.
· Unique Facilities: The park includes attractions like Dinosaur Hill with giant dinosaur models, horseback riding experiences for children, and a summer-exclusive water play area, making it ideal for family outings.

Operating hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, extended to 5:30 PM on weekends and holidays. Adult tickets are priced at NT$560, and online booking is recommended for discounts. The park offers a food court and rest areas, but visitors should be mindful of limited shaded spots and prepare for sun protection.

Jiujufeng Animal Park combines ecological education with leisure entertainment, making it a must-visit family destination in Nantou, alongside Sun Moon Lake and Cingjing Farm.
